I cleand my 3gal hex yesterday and i decided to add gravel. I washed the gravel about 3 times and it looked clean. I put the gravel in filled it up waited a few hours and added Gus ( my crowntail betta) to the tank. A few minutes later the water got cloudy. I will change the water and clean the gravel more but I have no chemicals to add to the water to remove the chlorine. Will he be ok for a few hours or until I can get to the store??

Get to the store a.s.a.p before the chlorine starts to affect him. You should have bough dechlorinator before you put him in his tank.
