Cloudy water

Hi guys,

I have a new 30 gal which is probably still cycling with only 3 cories and three apacei (spelling?) tetras in it.

Yesterday i noticed the water has gotten pretty cloudy for some reason.

The tank has been running for about a week and a transferred some fake plants and rocks from my other cycled tank into it to speed up the tank. It has a sand subtrate if that helps which was pretty dusty when i got it. i Did wash it mostly clean.

Im scared of doing a pwc incase the it would slow down the tank cycling.

Any ideas?

It could be your sand, but my best bet is that its because ur cycling... the water does tend to get a bit cloudy when there is a bacterial bloom... it should clear up after the cycle.. HTH
