Cloudy water

Hello, another family new to this, we’ve set up the tank washed the gravel and substrate, introduced plants, tap safe and filter booster. 24 hours in the water remains slightly cloudy. Is this to be expected. Thank you in advance.

Hi, the tank is cycling and the cloudy aspects is part of that process of developing a good biological filter system, full cycling or maturity will often take six to eight weeks. You’ll need to have patience, it’s a natural and slow process.
