At school me some other people are doing a project on fish. Yesterday someone (I have no idea who) put the entire contents of a bottle of flake food into the tank. Today, when I got to class, the entire tank was cloudy. Almost all of the ghost shrimp were dead . We partially changed the water with water donated from other groups. Any advice
I would vacuum the gravel to get all the food that's settled, and do water changes until it's no longer cloudy. I've heard that as long as your bio-filter is doing its job, you can do a 100% water change w/o any problems since there is very little good bacteria in the water itself.
