Does anyone have any ideas how I can reduce my cloudy water, I know what is causing it and I have read that is not a problem, it is a piece of bogwood that I added.
I washed it first in rain water, submerged it an a bucket for a few days then put it in the tank. I have seen a chemical to add that is supposed to help but I dont like the idea of this.
I have been changing just a small amount of water every 2 to three days which is helping.
Dont mind leaving it for a short time if it will stop on its own. :thanks:

I soaked my bogwood in a bucket with warm water for about three weeks (Changing water everyday) until the water was clear then put it into my tank - no problems.

Shouldn't of washed it in rain water can have parasites in it.
How long has the tank been set up.
Boiling salty water and let soak for a day or two, keep adding the boiling water, then rinse well and let dry out.
