when I look from the front of the tank to the back everything looks great. When I look from the side to the other end the water is cloudy. what could be causing this and how do I get rid of it.

Thanx

could be the build up of organics or ditritus from the sand. Are you using any mech filters? carbon shopuld rid you of it. Have you got a sump?

I did remove the charbon from my filter and never putted it back in. I'm going to try that I have some here. BTW I do have a protein skimmer.

thanx

when you look at the water from the top does it still look bad? could be something on the glass if you can't see the cloudyness from the front. but sometimes the glass can trick you with cloudy water. like it could make a betta seem very big, or make a goldfish look like it's not even there.

those tansk play tricks with your eyes! *_*

or it could be the fact that you are looking at much thicker water from the sides because youll have the tanks width showing up as the depth ......er yer
