Closing Of 'societies'

Just wondered why the severum appreciation society thread has been closed?

Happened quite a while ago. Don't go opening old wounds!

We had a few of them, Severum, Oscar etc, then it got out of control and there became a thread for quite a few species along with requests for them to be pinned, obviously you can't pin some and not others so they'd just get lost, so the moderators took the decision to close them.
