Clicking Clown Loach

After having 2 clown loaches for a couple of months i finally heard them clicking away whilst trying to eat a plec wafer. Didn't appreciate how much noise can come from such a small fish.

Just out of interest, how and why do they click.

I have had my 2 clowns for over 3 years and i bought some babies in the week, but i have never heard this! i will def look out for it. my 2 big clowns are actually really shy! so sometimes dont get to see them at all.

they do it when they feel scared or are trying to scare other fish away. in this case, the loaches were trying to scare each other so only 1 could get the flake!

when my loaches first did it i thought the tank was bursting with the pressure!
