Clenaer Shrimp Ar Ehtey Nocturnal?

[Fighterfish]

I got my cleaner shrimp yesterday and he is hiding and only comes out at night. Is this him just settling in or is he nocturnal?

Mine used to be nocturnal. They seem to be somewhat wary of big fish like triggers and tangs - even if the animal is benevolent.

Thanks. He seems fine as i saw him this morning and last night. I don't have any triggers or tangs. Although i hope to get a yellow tang soon.

My cleaner and yellow tang are always together. The cleaner often rides around the tank on the tang! Its fun to watch, I think it makes the tang (lemon head) mad though. =/

My cleaner shrimp have gotten somewhat violent with their "cleaning sessions". They will sneak up and pounce on the fish.

You know you have a lame tank when cleaner shrimp are it's top predators.
