Hi,i just got a 24"15"12" clearseal tank which i intend to use as a q tank, but im a bit suspect as its very thin glass, and seems very fragile,my juwel tanks are very solid, ive had my 180 ltr rio upside down when i was changing substrate-wouldnt want to turn the clearseal upside down, even when i picked it up it made a creaky noise!,i filled it a 3rd and no leaks....yet,any feedback on clearseal tanks would be nice,

I have one exactly the same as yours, which I bought second hand, and on the drive home, it was creaking like mad too, and whilst giving it a good clean in the bath, I couldn't help feeling that it could collapse at any moment.

It is now sitting on the end of my desk, on a base of MDF and polystyrene sheet, and has been populated for over 2 months with no problems. The tank seems a lot more solid when full than empty and I don't worry about it suddenly cracking or anything.

They're fine, but you must have polystyrene underneath

Cheers guys, the glass is thin like 1cm.but i feel assured no one has had any problems.Oh and how thick does the pollystyrene or rubber base have to be,
