ok i got a neet lil betta from WM an he was really shreded an every thing an at first i didnt think he would make it but he did. its like his 2weeks in the house now an hes from back most of his lower fins...but they are kinda clear. i was wondering what this could be. is it just a state that fins go threw when they regrow? is there something i need to do that im not doing. i feed him 4 pellets an 2 bloodworms a day with 100% water changes on fridays an hes in a 1gal.

none of his other fins are kinda clear they are all shiny an great looking.

HELP!!!!!

Depends on the Betta. Some have naturally pretty clear fins...it's just coloring. But regrowth on Betta fins is clear, so it's probably that.

yeah sometimes new growth or healed areas are clear... not sure if the color will return at some point... there are some foods that promote better coloring, maybe this will help?

well about a year or so i did this thing an fed my oscar alota beef heart an that really brought out his color. so its okay for new regrowth to be clearish :D? ok cuz its just clear where its regrown. i love this betta. in the words of a great man " THATS FRICKIN AWSOME!!!"

It sometimes stays, Hannibal had been nipped a bit when I got him and I expected his tail to grow back to full red VT, but he had a few clear patches in his tail. Ah well, he's unique :)

i got him cuz he was the most active fish that i saw. i dont like to buy fish based on looks. but i would if it really caught my eye :D
