needs to be 15mm, 1/2" ID so i connect to hozelock fittings

I would think clear would be much more expensive than standard. Also will it last as long (flex wise?).

Unless you pay through the nose, a hosepipe is the way to go. I looked into getting long lengths of clear tubing for the exact same project as you, but the only places I could find it was lfs and a local home brew shop. But the home brew shop didn't carry such lengths but said they could order it in, but the price was even dearer than buying from lfs.

Hoselock fittings take hoses of 16/22mm ;) Work sells it, at something like £1.50 a meter (last I checked about 6 months ago), so can be had cheaper for a generic clear hose

A few Camping sellers on Ebay also sell it for a similar price to AquaEssentials. This kind of makes me wonder if work's hose price has gone up since I last had to cut some...

All the best
