Fish Crazy
I'm going to attempt fishless cycling for a new tank that I'll be getting soon.
I was at the supermarket today and looked for "clear ammonia." There was only one kind and it was the store brand (Pathmark).
It was labeled "Clear Ammonia" and the box said no perfumes or dyes and phosphate-free.
The ingredients were: Amonium Hydroxide Solution, Clarifying Agent, and Softened Water.
Is this the right type of ammonia to use for fishless cycling?
