Cleanning Gravel

Do you have one of them plastic breeders that hang in the tank, if so maybe move them in there, also they have an airstone so them pump clean tank water in.

A big stringe or a net.

Have you ever seen the size of tetra eggs? :/ I think I would go crazy since each of my tetras dropped about thirty eggs each. They are very hard to spot. I was hoping there was an easier way. Putting them in a breeder tank would not help much since they fit through the holes in the bottom.

Might have to leave the gravel vac them while they hatch, good luck.

Tried using a turkey baster to do the job?
 Last time I used a turkey baister for the tank my husband almost dropped dead on the floor :p He could not figure out what I was doing, and was shocked when 2 days later I was using one to baist a turkey  ( Didn't tell him I had 2 baisters)

I can't see why you want to remove the eggs. Remove the spawners. When I breed certain species of tetras I use a bare tank. The bottom of the tank has a plastic grate put in the fit the tank. The smaller the grate the better. This is used to prevent the adults from eating the eggs. After the fish have spawned, all you need to do is remove them. You should already have your infusoria cultures going by the time the spawners are finished. Other species of tetra's like neons, or cardinal I use spanish moss for a spawning medium. These species of tetra's usually start spawning early in the morning. I'll set my alarm so I'm up before it's light. And I'll watch them spawn. As soon as they're finished spawning. The adults are removed to another tank. I hope this helps you out.

It's not that I want to remove the eggs, I want to clean the gravel WITHOUT accidentally sucking up the eggs. I guess it would be easier just to remove the tetras to a new tank.

Thanks
