Cleaning The Outside Of The Glass?

hey guys whats the best thing for cleaning the outside of my fishtank? Its getting pretty filthy and i dont want to use anything that could affect the glass in a bad way or anything.

How about a nice damp sponge? I only ever use a moist sponge or cloth to clean the outside of one of my tanks. It takes a bit more effort than a glass cleaner but it won't accidentally poison the fish.

i use vinegar but not on the silicone...i sometimes use RO water too

i just use a microfibre cloth and water and thsts it and it comes up crystal clear for me

i do exactly the same thing, u can get a pack of 5 microfibre cloths from a 99p store if there's one nearby, the same thing is recommended for cleaning an lcd tv screen also.
