Hello all, I have recently bought a second hand Interpet 64l tank with all the equipment that comes with them. It is in very good condition but I want to give everything a thorough clean before I set it all up. There is a bit of limescale on the filter top; what would you guys recommend as a cleaning agent and limescale remover?
Thanks in advance.

try not to use any chemicals. hot water and a lot of elbow grease is the answer!!

:good:

Thanks for that. I'm planning a fairly straight forward community tank. My young daughter has been asking for a fishtank for a while and as a kid I was crazy about tropicals and managed to breed quite a few so to be honest I'm as excited as she is!

If the limescale is really stubborn, vinegar or lemon juice are good at removing it :good:
