Hi folks, my hospital tank is empty after euthanizing with clove oil, and everything in the tank smells of clove and there’s a sticky film on the bottom of the tank. I now see why the instructions were to euthanize in a separate container. I guess I have two questions:
1) how do you normally clean a hospital tank after a sick and potentially contagious fish has been living in it?
2) How should I clean this tank, given the sticky residue?

I only ever used clove oil with bare hands once and it took days to get the smell off my skin (which is why I now use rubber gloves)
