What is the difference between the

Pacific Scarlet Cleaner Shrimp (Lysmata amboinensis)

and the

Carribean Scarlet Cleaner Shrimp (Lysmata grabhami)


apart from the fact they are fomr different seas?

According to Dr Shimek there is a difference in the colouration.

L. amboinsis has the white stripe running the length of the back terminate in a horizontal strip with a stripe of red before a wedge of white on the tail fan (which has no white edging on it).

L. grabhami has the white stripe run the legnth of the body without the break and has white edging on the tail fan.
