I've had this cleaner shrimp for about a month now, and it is the only cleaner shrimp in the tank. This morning, I noticed it has eggs. Are they just un-fertilized eggs, or did this happen a month ago at the lfs?

Well even if they were fertilized they don't have much of a chance of living. I hear its extremely hard to set-up shrimp for breeding let alone being able to care for the babies. That's why there so expensive

Yeah, I know. I figure it's a nice treat for everyone in the tank (that is, if they get them before they get sucked in to the filter). I was just wondering if one of the peps crossed species lines (lol, just kidding).

Mine has been carrying fresh eggs about once every 2 months. Too bad I don't get any tiny shrimp, tho. I feel bad for her. She's a very good looking girl and takes very good care of her eggs, all for naught. :(
