Clamped Tail

One of my male guppys tail is clamped (stuck together)...he is still swimming about (bit hard for him though) and eating. Do you think Melafix would help?

Water Stats

Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates.......unsure but high as I my tap water has 40 reading


Any help would be appreciated

Try some melafix yes, and improve the diet as it can be a diet sign.
Need a variety of frozen foods and veg.
