wrong section...post in african cichlid section....and you are going to have to be way more specific than how big a tank do i need for african cichlids....every species is different.

Yeah, wrong place, plus we could advise you to get a 100 gallon tank "just to be on the safe size"

Decide what fish you want, research the species then ask the question, you'll get more helpful advice.

You could have a nice 10 or 20 usg shellie tank or a 200 usg Frontosa tank. My Fronts are in a 40, a 50, and a 125.

You will probably be looking for a Malawi tank. It doesn't need to be huge, but carefully selected stocking. Nevertheless go hang out in the Old World African Forum.
