Last night I finally moved Cuervo the GT out of the hospital tank and into the 55g with the Oscar and the Texas  . And since then, its been very interesting to watch.
The Oscar is 8"-9" now, the Texas is probably 4.5" and the GT is about 5" now (he's slightly bigger than the Texas).
Whenever Cuervo sees BigO, he hauls butt to the other side of the tank  , but the Texas, he flares at and the Texas backs down. So, this morning I had been watching them for about 10 minutes and suddenly, Cuervo decides to go for it. The Texas is in the cave and he wants it regardless of the fact that BigO is hovering right above it. So Cuervo swims quickly into the cave and the Texas just turns tail and takes off. BigO isn't happy about this :grr: . Until today, the Oscar has intimidated all other fish based on nothing but his size :sly: , no gill flaring or anything like that. Well, BigO decides to get the GT out of the cave, but the cave is too short for him to get into. I was surprised to see BigO and Cuervo *both* flaring their gills and mouths open in displays of aggression :smb: . BigO was trying to push the cave back to get at the GT too. Finally, Cuervo decided he was done and he swam back to the other side of the tank. In the middle of the tank, I have this rock waterfall and it has become an imaginary divider in the tank, or at least it seems that way for now.

I just love my fish!

you know ernie and bert are exactly the same way they are both showing off to each other through the divider.
