Cichlid Quiz

I saw these cute lil' guys(not even one inch in length) in a tank with some way larger fish and noticed they weren't the regular "feeder" fish infact they looked like cichlids to me. The lfs person said they're african cichlids but didnt know which one exactly. Well i had a spare 10 gallon up and running and just couldn't let the little guys go to waste so they gave them to me for FREE! When they get larger they can go in my 55g cichlid tank depending on what they are.
So here's the test, what type of cichlid do you think it is?

I guessed convicts too but I'm guessing these fry came from cichlids the store already have right? They don't own convicts. They own demasoni, leleupi and some others that would not suit the profile. I guess only time will tell.

I'm not a cihlid expert . . . but they're adorable!

those are those zebra convicts or something along those lines. You can get them for dirt cheap and you can't ever get rid of them. BUT I like my pinks .

definitely cons ur lucky i wish i could find sum babies, i went to the fish store and the guy sold me fish that were supposed to b cichlid fry but they turned out to b green sunfish, but they r still cool ne way, hopw u have fun with ur cons and get sum hiding places for them they like that

at school we have tons and tons of cons! little ones big ones, all shapes and sizes.

you r lucky at our skool we have three bettas in the front office and they all are suffering in a lil bowl thing, it really sux to see them like that, i wish i could take them home
