Yesterday i made 2 small caves from tufa that was already in my tank. Today I purchased a large piece and set to work, it was just as easy working on it dry. Within a few minuted of placing it in the tank the Noeolamprologus Caudopunctatus was in and then swimming round and round it claiming it the the Julidochromis Dickfeldi squatted it, I should have left a retaining wall and had 2 caves in 1, impatience got the better of me, , , in the new year I am going to remove all my ocean rock and purchase large Tufa pieces, going to have hollow caves running uo the corners of the tank. Here goes
