Chubby Guppy Causes

A few days ago, I purchased a few female guppies from a chain pet shop. It looked like they did not care for their fish well and I decided to get a few to put them in a better environment.
One of the guppies has a relatively large belly. Could she have something like intestinal worms? Was she overfed? Pregnant?
I would appreciate any ideas so I can treat her, if need be. Especially since the conditions in the pet shop were not ideal. Thank you

The pet shop had males and females separated. How likely is she pregnant from the breeder, before the pet shop purchased her?

Like @CaptainBarnicles has already said: Probably pregnant. This magenta female could have been with males before she was transported to the store that you've got her from. So, the store itself can split those sexes up. But that doesn't mean that both sexes were split up at the wholesaler. And for sure those females will be together with males at the fish farms before they're shipped to a wholesaler.

That’s a nice female guppy . Good solid breeding stock . Ones like her I call them pounders as in a pound of fish . Big pounder female .
