hi guys im not sure what section to put this in so i chose this one. Does any one know how i can encorage my male fighter to build a bubble nest. I have not got a female yet do i need one befor he will make one ?

Try posting your question in the Betta Splendens part of the forum on the topic page, its right near the top of the page. But just quickly I have seen males make nests wih no females present, I guess it all depends on the individual male and that he feels he has a suitable place to build a nest. Others who are more totally into Betta's (Siamese Fighters) will probably be able to tell you a lot more.
