What fish will go with a chinese algae eater.
My sister dumped hers on me, only one fish, and ive put it in with 3 long finned danios that are going soon cos they are bullies.

Im assuming it wont go with oriental fire bellied toads?

Chinese algae eaters are bullies too so it may even the balance. My other half was tricked into buying one at P@H last week for our sons tank on the information that it was 'a type of loach, but we're not sure which sort'.

When young, the Chinese Algae Eater does fine in a community aquarium, busily going about its business of greedily foraging algae from the glass sides of the tank, the plants, the substrate, and any decor. When it gets older however, it can start to defend a territory and can continually harass tankmates. Adult specimens are often best kept alone.

It should be fine with the danios and most quick active fish that the CAE can't latch onto.
