I have a ten gallon planted with a ton of hair algae. I was wondering if it would be possible to get any cherry shrimp in there. The stocking is 5 black tetras, and a betta. Would it be too overstocked? Would the shrimp get eaten?

I've tried them with bleeding hearts and they loved the shrimp for lunch so black widows may we have a good go, but both will defo eat any baby shrimp you may get.

Also tetra's are well known for nipping betta's, while it may be fine now, u never know. So always have some medications ready just in case.
