will they eat small platy or molly fry? (i didnt think they would but not 100%.) do they eat bits and bobs of the bottom of the tank becuase i was thinking of getting some for my fry tank so they would help to keep it clean but eating the uneater food as i have no substrate! also i dont know how well they would do in my main tank with amanos? becuase catfish wont eat them and the gold barbs, laties mollies etc wont bother them? do they damage plants? thanks

Very unlikely that cherries would bother fry or damage plants. Amanos will get along fine with cherries. Regarding the catfish, it depends on the species and if I recall correctly gold barbs only get to an inch so they should be good.

the catfish are only clown plecs. and i have 2 of them along with ottos so i dont think they will be a problem!
