I've only ever have cherry shrimp.

And I've had quite a few babies from them over the last few weeks (march).
Now their not the best coloured cherries i know just hopeing with age the red get's better.
I'm just starting to get the first lot of babies now nearly 2cm starting the saddel, and ane getting both yellow and green saddel's

How ever today i just saw a cherry which looked white not CRS white but defo white base with red stripes
Has anyone seen this before in cherries?

I'm trying to get a pic but it's gone now and hope to see it again soon and will try to get a pic if i do.

Ps.
It's not clear before anyone suggest that!

White/cloudy looking generally means it is ill and on the way out it might just be an old male

it is either a muscle wasting disease or a parasitic worm that has gotten lost in the shrimp's body. Generally they don't live long when it happens.

Darn!!!!! was hoping it was something more special!

It's a young shrimp can only be 6-8 weeks at the most.
Looking healthy at least

will keep an eye on it.

There are a couple of diseases that cause the whitening of the body. If the shrimp slows down its movements I would remove it. If it dies which is likely, take out the body, some of the diseases are spread by the dead shrimp being eaten by the others.
