Hurray my Shrimp arrived an hour ago, I'm just about to release them into the main tank :)

Look lovely and healthy, mix of males and females...

Hopefully they will enjoy my moss mountain!

YAY!

Time to set you guys free in a moment...

--------

Yay! Will FINALLY get my hands on some Cherries from a member of this forum.

They are being sent next day, plus heat-pack etc. - but as you can imagine in the UK things are getting pretty chilly!!

What temp can these guys go down to and still stand a chance of surviving?

Cheers!

I'm not sure how cold they can get but mine arrived this morning all happy and active :) are you getting yours from Steve?

Yup!
Looking forward to it :D how big were yours BTW? Did you 'acclimate' them, or pop them straight in?

I can't wait :D

I floated the bag in the water for a bit first. Gave Steve the betta some time to get used to the prospect of more annoying residents in HIS tank too  All but one were adult sized but the little one had enough sense to run for cover straight away and he's been sitting in the moss carpet having a feast ever since lol. The bigger ones have been calling Steve's bluff and jumping at him when he chased them. He hasn't been very interested in them since haha. Lovely little things.

Awesomw thanks :D I really can't wait!! I have loads ans loads of moss (i'm having them to keep it clean!) - i'm hoping my eagle eyed whiteclouds leave them alone LOL!
