Livestock: Cherry Red Shrimp
Quantity for sale: Lots! in batches of 15 or 25
Reason for Sale: They have been multiplying exponentially and it's time to thin the population down a little.

Photograph: This is an example of a few of the little fellas. They vary in size/age but I will endevour to mix it up a bit.

Please feel free to ask questions. Thanks

Hi would you consider posting out 10 if so how much

Hi pix1. For it to be worth me making a trip to the post office the price needs to be about £15 minimum, and I think it wouldn't be too fair on you to give you anything less than 15 shrimp for that. I hope you understand.

Will you send these with Amazon Frogbit? If you do... could you add a few plants more with the shrimp for a price? And i'll buy!

Let me know mate, thanks ;-)

SchottayB: It's not frogbit. To be honest I don't know what it is but it floats a little and will be something for the shrimp tio hang onto and graze for the 24 hours they're in transit.

Weimster: They'll be posted in plastic pots that hold about 150ml (actually intended for hospital specimens, but I can get them from work). I'll also pop the pot into a zip-lock back before I bubble wrap it and then pop it into a jiffy envelope.

Sorry, no heat pack and no polystyrene box. When I purchased my shrimp the survived 1st class postage with just a jiffy bag.

will platys or tetra eat these? as i want some but not for fish food lol

Hi Walkers. I have Red Serpae Tetras, Neons and X-Ray Tetras and they all behave. I also have one large male pearl gourami and 2 BN plecs. However, when I first added about 20 shrimp sometime ago I thought I'd made a terrible mistake and quite a few got eaten. In fact I thought that all were eaten but some survived and since have spawned the hundreds now in my tank! The fish are now used to them and don't try and eat them at all.

So I can't guarantee anything. All I can do is tell you what my experiences are. Perhaps other can give you more experiences to help you decide. Hope that helps.

Anything larger than a small danio will eat smaller shrimp. Adults are generally fine with the smaller tetras guppies but you have been very lucky to get your shrimp to survive with that fish list

Weimster i have another tank that these can go in but i see what your saying thanks anyway :D
