Cherry shrimp breeding

if put in a 150 liter\ 40 gallon freshwater tank, can they completely breed to make new shrimp? any consequences?

Yes cherry shrimp can breed "fully" in freshwater.

They'll breed just fine and once they start you'll have a major population, I started with ten and now have around 100 or so
