Recently bought from a pet store, what the guy called a cherry black scorpion, however when i searched for this on google, the search comes back with motorbike helmets!
i know i should have reasearched him first, but i saw him, and i had to have him.

He's absoultly fasinating in the tank, climbs on everything, jumps off things and is just generally a busy little #29###!

However i don't know alot about him, and was looking for some advice,

also read on a different thread about giving crayfish carrots to eat. what else could i feed him? and how will this effect the other fish in the tank?

Thanks

Hi there,

a pic would probably be most helpful!

It may well be this species.

Hi, thanks for your reply, i have checked your picture and he is very similar to that but mine has a bit of orange on him aswell, plus he doesn't look as nasty as that one, lol, mine's friendly. that looks like a killer crayfish.

i have taken some pics to show you but i don't know how to upload them on to the site. when i click on insert image it asks me to put in a URL.

hopefully will figure it out soon.

Hey there :D what you need to do is sign up for something like a 'photo bucket' account, up load your photos there, and underneath the photos you upload there will be a 'direct link' part, copy the link and paste where it asks for the URL here :)

Cheers!

Not sure if that's right, i'd be gratefull if you could try it

I found this, called a "rare black lobster." It has more red than yours, but maybe it gets more red as it ages?
