Cherry And Bamboo Shrimps

I just ordered 10 cherry shrimp off of aquabid, and plan to get a trio of bamboo fan shrimp eventually. They are for my 20g guppy tank that is absolutely filthy looking with all the alge in the water. I also have in the tank a 4 inch long alge eater. i know that they are vegitarians but he can be quite agressive at times, would he attack my new shrimp?

You want a simple answer?...
Yes, the Algae eater most probably will attack them. If It's A SAE or similiar depending on the size and nature of the fish he will go for them. My SAE is ok at the moment fingers crossed
