I'm gathering all the materials I need for a co2 system, and I'm only missing a check valve and syringe for the bubble counter. Syringe is no problem, but I looked up check valves at my LFS and the reviews are terrible. People are saying that it basically blocks all airflow and that it doesn't work. This seems to be a common problem for several different brands, so I'm not sure which one to get...

Does anyone know any check valves that actually work? Thanks!

I hear good things about the fabco valves, clippard are well regarded, but I've heard mixed review.

Mine, to be honest, came with the regulators and have generally been fine.

I don't use one on my main tank as CO2 runs 24/7 but on my other I used a glass ebay cheapy and its great, cost a quid.
