I expect the eggs to stand a slim chance of survival in a tank? any way take a look.... the eggs are extremely bright orange.

are they polyps in its claws???

I`m assuming this is some kind of symbiotic relation ship.
(symbiotic is a big word for me can i have a round of applause please.)
 
Big ian :clap: lol. yup symbiotic relationship. but tiny anenomes in the claws to keep predators away. in turn the crab feeds them by waving them around and collecting food. they are totally dependant upon the crab.

Jim c, ure in the US right? i have read about them being quite common over your way. if you are in the Uk i can Pm you, i have only ever seen one once complete with anenomes. and snapped it up.
 
there were a fair few at tmc when i went in bristol :D awesome things they are !
