has anyone heard of an online shop called cheapfish .com?
if so are they any good to get fish from or should i stear clear?

also if anyone has read my previous posts i have a 2ft tank with some live rock and a few fish.
im planning to upgrade and a friend has offered me their 4ft tank for a cheap price.
it has a built in pump and heater (heater better than mine) but i plan to use my external filter as well, is this ok? can you over filter?

i also plan to get more live rock for the new tank because i want corals.

my main question is the proteine skimmer.
i have a cheap one, but does the job.
do i need to upgrade that and what should i go for?

im starting up a copepod tank in the shed for live food also.

i think i would probably steer clear.

in their offers they sells live rock, with fish and anenomes. So if some one is cycling a tank they are going to dump fish and nems in at the same time?? sounds like they dont really care about their stock to me

Agree with above.
And there website doesnt look the best, just looks like they want money on an easy scale.

yes that was my first though.
also their prices are about half what my local shop charges.

tropicals just because it say "cheap" doesn't nesseseraly make it rubbish you end up paying a simular price as an lfs anyway due to the cost of shipping on it

i think he means www.cheapfish.co.uk, cheapfish.com is food LOL.

right you are, i meant .co.uk
thanks for your opinions.
anyone recomend a good skimmer for a 220litre tank?
preferably an external on the side of the tank but any good ones

Deltec MCE600 mate as I believe the MCE300 might be a bit small but all depends on your stocking levels...
