Cheap Place To Get Compact H Sponges

Hi I will finally be setting up my Vision 180 this next week ( :hyper: ) but I need some of the sponges taht go inside the filter.. Just wondering where the cheapest place is?
I looked here but couldn't believe this cheeky !@!~#! so am I better off going to my local LFS or is there anywhere cheaper on the net?

Actually I wouldn't need the white filters and not too sure about carbon (need these after neds only?) so above deal wouldn't be ideal even if it was reasonable!
btw I am not noramlly a stingy person but Christmas was a good'n for us all this year and want every penny I can save for the fish!

buy some massive peices of sponge and cut it up, and for the bottom of the filter, take a womans nylon and fill it with noodles for better biological filteration

Sorry to bring this up mate I dissapeared for a while so didn't follow this thread up properly but I do appreciate your response. What sort of sponge is best and where would I get it to be sure it is safe?

lol I really am ready now my tank is being set up this week at last so i need to make a move now...
