Check that out. I have one coming to redo my lighting on my 25 tall. I figure even if it's crap...it's cheap and can't be any worse than the 18watts I have over it now.

I bought one of those and put it into my Eclipse 3 hood. Drs. Foster & Smith were selling those really cheap a couple of months ago as Custom SeaLife (the company that made those lights) is out of business. They were selling replacement bulbs for them really cheap too. This fixture comes with a bulb that is half blue actinic and half daylight. I replaced it with a 65W 8800K bulb that they were also selling for really cheap. The installation was really easy. One MAJOR problem is that the unit puts out a lot of HEAT. The Eclipse hood is really enclosed without much ventilation so I have started propping the light door up a little. It heats my water up about 2 degrees near the surface. Other than that, it works great.
