Sexing: The presence of a larger, thicker, white edge to the dorsal and anal fins is usually (but not always) an indication of a male.
If the mood is right, the anal and dorsal fin of males usually turn deep blue.

Adult females are fatter and have wider heads, other than that it pretty much impossible to tell. The only sure way to know is to wait till they breed, they are paternal ovaphil mouth brooders so the male with house the eggs in his mouth till they hatch

ok, this is a bit of a guesstimate, but going by what looks to me like a wide head and a broad body id say he does look a bit like a female

there really is no way to tell unless you have a tankfull of adults to compare, and it doesnt matter which sex it is unless you are going to try breeding them and then you need at least 6 adults to let a pair form anyway.
