Changing Salt Brands

I've just performed my last Wc with my 56lb tub of kent salt which has been the only salt i've ever bought

Any probs with changing salt brands ? I have now got a bag of reef crystals as its easier for me to get hold of

Probably no difference or worries changing but no harm asking

Don't think there will be a problem. Remember...you'll only be changing out 10% a week, so, that is the 'gradual' change factored in. SH

Just a little update about my salt change

I tested my last batch of kent for 3 parameters 3 times each and took and average

Ca - 475 PPM
Mg - 1200 PPM
Alk - 10.6DKH

My reef crystals tested the same way are :

Ca - 465 PPM
Mg - 1170 PPM
Alk - 12.6 DKH

Hopefully this will raise my alk levels
