changing gravel or cleaning?

Is there a certain way to clean out a tank with gravel because if i just move the gravel around in my tank it brings up dirt and wateva. am i supposed to change it or clean the gravel or tank in some way?

use a gravel cleaner. It is basically a syphon that will suck up all the dirt from the gravel and leave the gravel where it is.
Use it when you do water changes, and you'll get all that muck out of your tank at once!!!

yeh, i just syphon out my tank once a week... and do 30% water change
works well for me

Syphons are good for removing the crud under the gravel and doing water changes. You do both at once and it's easy provided you have a bucket as well.
