changing community tank.

I was thinking of changing my 3ft community tank into a firemouth and convict tank since these are my fave new world cichlids, would that be a good i dea or who thinks i should stick with my community tank i know its up to me but i would like to know what others think, i was thinking of getting 1 male convict and firemouth and 3 female convicts and firemouths.

I personally wouldn't do it, because i find more aggressive tanks to be so much more stressful. Especially since convicts can be sooo vicious when they rear fry!

I just find community tanks to be more peaceful and bring more enjoyment.

firemouths and convicts will grow quickly...a tank 3 feet long im guessing is about 29 gallons...therefore u could only keep a male and female pair of either...and not for very long
