Changed Tank Over

Hi all

I recently changed my tank from external filteres to sump. . Change over went well, its been about 2 months now and in the last few weeks i have had a massive out brake off red blanket agea.

The tank is 350 l

The tank reads

ph 7.9
new halide 250w
using rowa phos
nitrate remover
nitrite remover
carbone remover
3 power heads

are you using live rock?

did you just turn the filters off one day?

is will be cyano bacteria id put money on it. not an algae. you need to test your phosphates, also cut down your lighting cycle and increase flow.
