Chain loaches MIA

I haven't seen my chain loached in a few weeks, any ideas?

55 gallon u.s.
1 Pearl gourami
1 Siamese badis-Could he have eaten them?
2 Honey Gouramis
4 Cories, 2 Peppered, 2 Bronze
2 Bolivian Rams
4 Otos
5 Danios
6 Serpaes
2 Chain loaches MIA
 
hard to say dwarfs.......they're so tiny it would be hard to spot them in a planted tank. Have you had them long?

I got a couple of them recently and lost one :( found him a couple of days later tucked down at the back of one of the plants.

Well I would find it hard to believe they re lost in there as they are very active and mine are also kept in a heavily planted tank and can always be seen so would think the Badis has got them sadly. But I may be wrong and I hope I am. :)
 
I've seen loaches dig... check the substrate. I've also seen them sucked into filters, like the canister kind. Try that. :blink:

I think my badis ate them, and I have an underground filter, but thanks anyway
