Cfl Bulbs

I now have 2 standard CFL bulbs = to 100w each so 200w in a 29g tank. Do standard bulbs that you get at home depot have the light spectrum to grow coral??? They are a Crisp White to Bluish color no joke, looks like 10,000k bulbs for just $10

No they will be way lower at around 5000k ish basically have less blue in them, no domestic CFL will be anywhere near marine spec

They will be great at growing algae which for me is good enough reason to steer clear!
