dr eberts book reccomends 55g upwards from memory. I'm hopefully picking one up this week thats going in a 30g for a few months till i can rehome him in a larger tank (just got to make room and lose some furniture - dont really need a sofa anyway!!! ) - theyre only about 3" at the mo so should be ok for a little while I hope...

i was told a 30g is fine but i use a 15g as a grow out for now.
