Centerpiece Fish

I am currently fishless-cycling a 10 gallon tank. I am thinking of getting small schooling fish, like neon tetras. What would be a good centerpiece fish for a 10 gallon tank with schooling fish? Thanks.

How about a pair of dwarf gouramis. They stay small, around 2 inches and they come in a variety of colors these days and they are quite interesting to watch. HTH
