i have 4 anemones, and one coral banded shrimp....among other inhabitants that i dont think are relative to mention for the purpose of my question. well my question is can i get a cleaner shrimp or two for my tank and ... one it not get eaten by the anemones... and two it co-exist w/ the CBS. the CBS dosent get along very well with peppermint shrimp but tolerates them aslong as they dont get two close. i already lost a peppermint shrimp to an anemone " im asumeing this because he is nowhere to be found for days and he always hanged out on top of my heater. the anemones dont bother the CBS. i have 30 gal tank.

Its hard to say. CBS are not friendly, and if you don't keep them well fed, they may end up tearing up the anemones in search of food [just in case you have never heard that]. They definitely won't tolerate each other, but I would say that you would be safe with 2 or 3 skunk cleaners, safetly in numbers I guess. Other opinions?

based on your other post about your clown that has some kind of wound or whatever im just going to say that i would add anything else to that tank right now. besides you have quite a bit of inverts already.

i have a 30 gal tank w/ 30 lbs of live rock ,4 anemones , 1 peppermint shrimp,1 cbs , 2 false percula tank raised fish,30 blue leg hermits,3 scarlet hermits, 20 cerith snails , 10 narsissus snails, 3 feather dusters,and 2 corals

the general rule for inverts is 1-2 snails/hermits etc per gal. where as you have 65 inverts(not counting corals and anemones) which i feel is way too much not to mention there isnt too much variety. with a cbs i wouldnt add any more shrimp. they will more than likely end up as food.

You say that you have lost a peppermint to an anenome? I would look more towards the BOxing shrimp... They are highly efficient predators and can easily corner a small fish or shimp is a tank of hte size you have mentioned. Its probable that the shrimp was killed by the boxer and the anenome simply finshed off what was left. My shrimps walk right over anenones abd whilst they try not to hang around too long on them, they dont ever seem very phased by being touched by an anenome.
